Training Frequency

A question I get ask all the time is “How often should I workout?” Now there is an optimal amount that you should workout; however, this is not the correct answer. People should train as much as there schedule allows.

Everyone is busy & has a limited amount of time to train each week. So the answer is: “whatever you can work into your schedule.”


My general recommendation is at least 2x & no more than 5x.

3x-4x tends to be most optimal for consistent results.

Fitting training in with work, school, kids, family, and friends can be difficult. However everyone needs to train because the Obesity Epidemic is getting worse. Kids no longer have gym class and parents spend most of their day sitting. Fitting in a workout is a challenge but it is absolutely necessary.
